Wooden frames and simple joints. The idea is to design bare chests of drawers in order to create a total display where even the glasses placed are visible.
DO is conceived as a true FLEXIBLE display space: shelves, mirrors and tables can be dismantled and moved, reconfiguring the scene according to what you want to show. The wall displays are like a MUSICAL score, where every day, by moving the tablets, you can compose a new story.
Behind that drapery that resembles a dressing room hides the most INTIMATE space, the eye exam room.
Flexibility was the first desire of customers, to be able to display from 1 to 100 glasses, keeping them well lit without changing the image of the shop.
The chests of drawers have been custom designed and built in a garage in a very short time thanks to the use of simple wooden frames and joints.
